Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan, OceanBank’s CEO is appointed to be Chairman

On October 13^th, 2022, OceanBank held a conference to announce the decision of State Bank of Vietnam for the appointment of management personnel.

On behalf of State Bank of Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director - Personnel Organization Department, announced and handed over the appointment decision to Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan. Attending the conference were Mr. Le Duy Hai – VietinBank Vice CEO; Mr. Do Thanh Son – VietinBank Vice CEO, Mr. Pham Nhu Anh – Member of MBBank BOM and all members Council Member, Supervisor, Management and Senior Staff of OceanBank.

According to Decision Number 1729; 1730/QĐ – NHNN signed by Governor of SBV, Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan , CEO is appointed to be the chairman of OceanBank; Mr. Tran Trung Dung – Vice CEO, during the preparation of the procedure for appointing CEO position,  will be in charge of OceanBank's Board of Management.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - Deputy Director - Department of Personnel Organization affirmed that the appointment decision for OceanBank’s manager was the recognition of their contributions to OceanBank’s system over the past 8 years. Two new managers are highly evaluated on working level, political ethical and responsibility. The two Managers of OceanBank have fulfill the requirement according to SBV’s regulation and meet the trust from staff.

Mr. Do Thanh Son – VietinBank Vice CEO, former OceanBank Chairman has shared: OceanBank has basically completed the key mission and political mission assigned by SBV, he hoped that the new Management Board would try the best to complete the restructuring plan, improve income and compensation for employees.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ngo Anh Tuan, the new Chairman promised to continue to strive; side by side with the Management and OceanBank employees to build a strong, developed bank, heading toward the new period.

With the appointment of 2 leaders, OceanBank's Members' Council currently has 5 members including 1 Chairman, 3 members, 1 advisor; OceanBank's Board of Management currently has 6 members including 1 Vice CEO (Acting CEO), 4 Vice CEO and 1 Chief Accountant.
